What to Know Before Applying

Programs taught in Italian require at least a B2 language level, verified by individual universities.
International students can apply for a reduced-fee assessment (ISEEU parificato), though it can be a slower bureaucratic process.
Starting with the 2026/27 intake, universities are capping how many international applications they can accept relative to available seats — applying early with complete documentation matters more than before.
Job hunting after graduation is easier with some Italian language ability, particularly outside major cities like Milan and Rome.
